Creating a Simple Calendar with Adobe Illustrator

Below are some wonderful videos I found that demonstrates how to make a basic calendar using Adobe Illustrator.  Some of the concepts covered in the videos include:

  • Type Tool
  • Rectangle Tool
  • Transform Tool (for copying and moving blocks)

What the author ended up doing toward the end of the second part of the tutorial was export the calendar to Illustrator and turned it into a desktop background. His screen resolution was set to 1200×800. While the wallpaper idea is totally optional, it may be something to consider for those who are at the computer a lot (like myself).

Anyway, enjoy the tutorial videos and you’ll have your own calendar put together for the month in less than 30 minutes if you work on it while watching the videos!
