Exporting InDesign to JPEG

In the event that the average user making a label for their product cannot include the fonts they used or is not aware of how to convert their fonts to outlines, they can export their work as a JPEG image that is ready for print.  Below is a video tutorial demonstrating how to export an Adobe InDesign file to a JPEG image.

By exporting your image the way the video suggests, you’ll be one step closer to achieving the best quality prints for your work.

Note: Exporting your work to JPEG images should only be done if ABSOLUTELY necessary.  We recommend PDF as the best alternative but realize that this isn’t feasible for everyone.

Preparing a New Illustrator Document for Print

Something That I’ve noticed a lot in the past are people that are casual users of Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign sometimes forget the little things when creating their document.  In print these little things tend to add up fast.  One of the major little things is creating a print press ready document.  Below is a video that demonstrates how to create a document in Adobe Illustrator.

We currently have another tutorial for Photoshop users as well.  If you are a Photoshop user, please take the time to view it right here.
